Terms of business

The ground rules for working together, kept as short and clear as we could make them.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you buy SEO, Google Ads or Meta Ads services from Foskett Marketing, run by Joshua Foskett as a sole trader. Together with your proposal or order confirmation, they form our agreement. If the proposal says something different, the proposal wins.

2. Our services

Your proposal sets out what we’ll do, for which search terms, locations or campaigns, and what we need from you. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.

3. Fees and payment

  • SEO: as set out in your proposal

  • Google Ads and Meta Ads management: £300 a month or 20% of your monthly ad spend, whichever is higher, for each platform

  • Ad spend: paid by you directly to Google or Meta. It’s never part of our fee

  • Setup: £400 one-off for each ads platform. SEO set-up is included unless your proposal says otherwise

  • Invoicing: monthly in advance, payable within 14 days

We may pause work if an invoice is more than 14 days overdue. Prices don’t include VAT. If we become VAT registered, we’ll tell you before any VAT is added.

4. Minimum term and cancelling

SEO has a minimum term of 3 months. Ads management has a minimum term of 3 months. After any minimum term, everything runs month to month and either of us can end it with 30 days’ written notice.

5. What we need from you

  • Timely access to the accounts we need, such as your Google Business Profile, website, ad accounts and analytics

  • Accurate information about your business, offers and service area

  • Approval of ad copy and offers within 3 working days

  • Prompt follow-up on the enquiries we bring in. We can’t control what happens after a lead reaches you

6. Accounts and ownership

Your Google Business Profile, website, ad accounts and the data in them are yours. We work through manager or partner access. When our work ends, we’ll hand everything back and remove our access. Content we create for you becomes yours once it’s paid for.

7. Results

Nobody controls Google’s or Meta’s algorithms, so we can’t promise specific rankings, leads or sales, except under our SEO guarantee, which applies only on the terms set out on our SEO guarantee page. We’ll always tell you honestly what’s working and what isn’t.

8. Confidentiality and data

We keep your business information confidential. We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy. Where we process your customers’ data on your behalf, we do so only on your instructions.

9. Liability

Our total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the fees you’ve paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, or for changes, suspensions or outages caused by Google, Meta or other platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change affects an active agreement, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
